
Scott Mullen is the Managing Director of Investments at Whitwell & Co., LLC. He also participates on the Investment Committee. Scott has spent his 35+ year career managing the investments of ultra-high-net worth entrepreneurs, families and private foundations and assisting them with multi-generational planning.
Prior to joining our team, Scott served for over 10 years as President and Chief Operating Officer of Austin based MFI Capital LLC, a high-profile single family office specializing in asset management across a broad range of investment classes in both the public and private sectors. Prior wealth management and investment experience includes working for Drexel Burnham Lambert in Beverly Hills and Salomon Smith Barney in Los Angeles where he served for 11 years as Senior Vice President of Investments and Senior Portfolio Manager.
Sought out for his leadership, Scott has served on the boards of the MFI Foundation, Advisory Councils for Fidelity Investments Family Office Service Group and the University of Virginia National Committee on University Resources. Scott also served on the Board of Directors for the Austin Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). He remains a member of YPO and is also a member of the Harvard Business School Association of Southern California.
Scott is an alumnus of both the University of Virginia and Harvard Business School where he graduated from the three-year Owner/President Management program (OPM). Scott's personal interests include working out, Biohacking, personal development, and reading all things non-fiction. Scott and his wife Terri live in Southern California. They have been married for over 30 years and have four children.
