Paul Reiferson is a Senior Wealth Advisor and leads Whitwell & Co.'s Family Office Practice. He has 25 years of experience in finance, during which time he ran a private investment fund and advised Fortune 500 corporations on mergers & acquisitions, restructurings, spin-offs, and raising capital in public and private markets as an investment banker.

Prior to joining Whitwell & Co., Paul served as Managing Principal of Americus Capital Advisors, a value-based private partnership investing on behalf of a leading endowment and some of the world’s most prominent investors. 

Messrs. Reiferson and Whitwell met while working at James D. Wolfensohn Incorporated, a boutique financial advisory firm then led by former World Bank President James D. Wolfensohn and former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul A. Volcker.

Paul is also the co-founder of several start-ups, including Wellinks, a COPD disease management company.

Paul received his Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School in 1993 and assisted in creating Harvard's Corporate Restructuring course. He is also the primary author of several case studies that have remained in print for more than 30 years and continue to be used at Harvard and other business schools. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia with high distinction.

Paul is a devoted father of three sons and a passionate collector of objects that tell American stories, principally vintage photographs, which he likes to share through writing, speaking and museum exhibitions.
