
Elsie Fletcher, CFA®

Elsie M. Fletcher, CFA® is a financial services Fortune 500 executive with deep investment experience in asset and wealth management. She has had the unique experience of working on most sides of the asset management industry - as Chief Investment Officer, Portfolio Manager, Client Service Executive and Institutional Marketing Director. She currently serves as a Board Member of Prime Genomics, a Silicon Valley based biotech company and ClearCut Medical, an Israeli based medical devices company.
Mostly recently, Elsie served as Director of Client Services at Tukman Grossman Capital Management. Previously, she served as Chief Investment Officer for Bank of America’s Northern California Private Bank in San Francisco, CA with assets under management of $15 billion and managed a team of 14 portfolio managers. Elsie was recruited in 1994 to be the Chief Investment Officer at Bank of America where she managed $26 billion in assets including the Defined Benefit and 401(K) Retirement Plans. She also worked for Electronic Data Systems in Dallas, TX as a Senior Investment Portfolio Manager and later as Chief Investment Officer managing $2 billion in assets for EDS' Domestic and International Pension Plans.
Elsie is a member of Women Corporate Directors, Past President of the CFA Society of San Francisco and a Board Trustee and Chair of Finance, Investment and Audit Committees for various non-profit organizations. She served as a subject matter expert for the CFA Institute Education Advisory Committee for 7 years. A graduate of the University of North Texas’ MBA program, she holds a BS from Louisiana State University and is a CFA Charter holder. Elsie currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
